Our IT services play a vital role in the digital transformation of Mediahuis. You ensure IT Service Management processes are secured and optimized, enabling teams to work efficiently with the right tools. Thanks to your efforts, IT teams work smarter, and colleagues receive the support they need to achieve our journalistic mission.

As an IT Service Coordinator, you have a broad range of responsibilities. You focus on implementing and improving processes, ensuring that service management is applied in a structured and pragmatic way within the organization. Additionally:

  • You implement IT Service Management processes within Mediahuis based on ITIL.
  • You improve existing processes and tooling while keeping documentation up to date.
  • You ensure that processes are properly followed and set the right priorities.
  • You help the organization mature in using the Jira Service Management platform.
  • You assess the existing service catalog and collaborate with delivery teams to resolve gaps.
  • You continuously work on improving service management and related processes in close cooperation with technology and business stakeholders.
  • You actively report on trends and issues within our service operations.

 

Your workplace

You will be part of the Technology & Product Studio (TPS) team, the driving force behind Mediahuis' digital transformation. You will work from one of our offices or remotely and collaborate closely with colleagues in Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Luxembourg, and Germany. You will regularly travel to our offices in Antwerp, Amsterdam, and Ireland (twice per quarter) to strengthen collaboration.

You are the driving force behind our service management and know how to connect teams. You have an open and proactive working style and can effortlessly switch between teams and departments. Additionally, you are a strong communicator and can bring people along in process optimizations.

Experience in the following areas will help you succeed quickly:

  • Proven knowledge of IT Service Management processes and tools.
  • Experience in an ICT service management role with expertise in ITSM.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian is a plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
