Working at Mediahuis means working with people. That’s why we like to make our first meeting personal. Meet Bo, Roy, and Jette—the first people you’ll encounter within our organization. They are ready to welcome you, answer your questions, and guide you through the application process, ensuring you get off to a great start in your new dream job.

Your application

The process begins with your application. If you find a great vacancy, send us your CV and cover letter. For some positions, a portfolio may also be useful. We carefully review every application and will let you know within two weeks if you are invited for an initial interview. Whenever possible, we aim to respond sooner, but we prioritize thorough and considerate evaluation.

The first interview

Our recruitment team will invite you by phone for an (online) interview. Even if you are not selected initially, you will receive a notification from us. During the introductory interview, we will get to know each other better, discuss your competences, and review your previous work experience. Given the ever-changing nature of the media world, we value flexibility and responsiveness to current events. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

The online assessment

If both parties are excited after the first interview, you’ll move to the next round, which includes an online assessment or case. This consists of a personality assessment, as well as motivation and intelligence tests. Both you and us receive the results immediately, and we will discuss them in the second interview.

In this interview, we dive deeper into the job, the challenges, and the team. We will get to know each other even better. We will also discuss the results of your online assessment. We assess whether there is a match between your competences and our needs, as well as between you and Mediahuis.

The offer

If you are the ideal candidate, it’s time for an offer. We will explain the employment conditions, such as salary, pension plan, and training opportunities. If you accept the offer, you will gain access to our interactive Onboarding App, where you can easily share your details with our HR department and even sign your contract digitally.
