What will you do as a front-end developer?
Our digital platforms are an integral part of the Dutch media landscape. As a development department, we constantly aim higher and think ahead. As an innovative media company, we’re always a step ahead, brainstorming new features to improve and add. One thing’s for sure: as a developer with us, you’re always on the move. From continuous improvement to exciting projects, there’s never a dull moment. Think optimizing Dumpert with gamification and AI, for example.

Specifically, you will:

  • Develop new innovative features and business models for Dumpert.
  • Improve the UI/UX of our website to ensure a top-notch user experience.
  • Work on cool projects like gamification and AI applications.

Your team
You’ll join an international and agile team consisting of one lead and seven developers. While you’ll primarily focus on Dumpert, our team also handles a wide range of other online titles, including Metronieuws, Autovisie, Manners, and Culy.

is important, but it’s far from the only thing we value. Equally important is that you embrace the Agile philosophy and have excellent, open communication skills. The team operates in English, so a good command of the language is essential.

We believe you’ll hit the ground running in this role if:

  • You bring at least 5 years of experience in React and UX/UI.
  • You have experience working in high-traffic environments.
  • You’re skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Tailwind.
