With 10 million readers and 1,7 million subscribers, Mediahuis has a powerful reach across Europe. This generates a wealth of data and insights, which we share throughout the entire organization. To ensure we have a unified data foundation where all sources are easily accessible, we are looking for a BI Solutions Owner to drive us forward and help unlock the full potential of our data.
You will be the key to uniting colleagues and fostering a collaborative environment where the team can excel. Additionally, you'll be responsible for shaping the BI team's strategy and establishing a solid framework to support their success.
The team operates on a self-service setup, prioritizing on supporting (enabling) the business. You won’t find a typical reporting factory with a pick-up counter here. Instead, we have a department that stimulates our colleagues to generate their own insights and dive into the data.
You will join Technology & Product Studio (TPS), Mediahuis' Group IT & data department, where passion, innovation, and customer focus come together in the dynamic media landscape. Collaborating with colleagues across various countries, you will develop innovative digital solutions used by all our media brands. More specifically you will join the BI Engineering team. This team works on a self-service setup, which enables the business to be able to extract insights from the data. The team is involved from development to production and facilitates all domains within the Mediahuis Group.
Your people skills and ability to unite the team are key in this role. The main challenge is that the team is split between two locations: Antwerp and Amsterdam. You'll ensure strong collaboration, guiding the team to develop the best BI solutions.
